SNL’s Jay Pharoah had some unkind words for the Celtics’ Paul Pierce on First Take yesterday, and Pierce took notice, demanding to know exactly who this Pharoah character was. Well, we’re here to help.

The “Weekend Update” segment on SNL took time to address the Heat being down 2-1 in their series with the Pacers last night. “Stephen A. Smith” revealed what the Heat must do to take back the series. The AP caught up with SNL producer Lorne Michaels ahead of his show’s annual holiday special this weekend. The report contains this interesting little nugget: “In the studio, a sketch was being blocked for the cameras: Denver Broncos quarterback (and famously devout Christian) Tim Tebow confronts Jesus in the locker room.” So, which cast member is playing Tebow tomorrow night? Has to be Jason Sudeikis, or whoever this guy is, right? [AP]
