The 2013 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition is out, and 10 of the models — including Kate Upton, Katherine Webb and Chrissy Teigen, of course — went on the Late Show with David Letterman last night. One night after it was revealed on Late Show with David Letterman that Irina Shayk would be the cover model for the 2011 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, Shayk paid the show another visit.

This year’s swimsuit issue could mark a turning point for SI (and possibly for Time Inc.) as it uses the issue to help transition from print to digital format.

Last night, Irina Shayk was revealed as the cover model of this year’s Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue on Late Show with David Letterman – and before that, she delivered a line on the show’s nightly Top Ten.

With today’s news that Russian model Irina Shayk will be the cover model for this year’s edition of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, it’s only appropriate to familiarize yourself with Ms. Shayk a bit more.
