Tiger Woods announced that his back is feeling fine and he’s going to go ahead and play in this weekend’s PGA Championship, which starts Thursday at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Ky.

It’s the season’s final major and Tiger Woods saved the ratings by saying he was going to give it a shot. The executives at both TNT and CBS are obviously quite happy, as they are the broadcast partners for the PGA Championship. The question now turns to – will he be able to play all four rounds (if he makes the cut), and will he be able to be effective?

The CBS broadcasting crew will likely be talking about Tiger Woods a little too much, but can you blame Jim Nantz, David Feherty and Nick Faldo?

Tiger tees off at 8:35am ET on Thursday, so by the time TNT begins its broadcast tomorrow afternoon, he’ll likely be done for the day already.

You won’t get a chance to watch TV coverage of the early rounds, which means the only way to watch Tiger Woods’ round in Thursday’s PGA Championship is live streaming online.
