Can These Shoes Help You Pull Off A Cartwheel Dunk Like This Guy? We Hope So
The Nike Hyperdunk+ sneakers are coming out this week. Shoe heads will already been looking to cop a pair, by why should the layman invest in such a set of footwear? Because if they had anything to do with this dunk, we’re gonna need some for ourselves and everybody on our amateur basketball league team.
The man featured in this video is Justin “Jus Fly” Darlington, a Canadian basketball player who, like all the And1 Mixtape Tour players before him, make us ask “Why isn’t this guy in the NBA?” And if the answer is, “Well, he can dunk, but can he pass and dribble and stuff?” then maybe we should consider changing the NBA, not the other way around.
These new shoes apparently measure vertical, quickness and “hustle” on each play, making it easier than ever to see how far you were from actually dunking the ball — when you fall on your face trying to copy this one.
We haven’t been this hyped about a shoe since Kobe “jumped” over an Aston-Martin. And that was also for a pair of Hyperdunks. You have to hand it to Nike: they’re good at making us want stuff.
