This Fantastic Video Is One Of The Reasons You Should Already Be Following Us On Facebook

In addition to the fact that we’ll cut you in the face if you don’t, there are three reasons that you should follow us on Facebook and Twitter if you like the site.

1) YOU CAN STAY UPDATED WHILE YOU LOOK AT PHOTOS OF THE GIRL YOU’RE “GONNA EVENTUALLY GET AROUND TO ACTUALLY TALKING TO.”

If you like us on Facebook, some of our posts will start to populate your timeline. Since you spend most of your time on Facebook while you’re at work or in class anyway, this means our posts will come to you. So while you’re keeping up with the activities of your peers/creeping on hot girls that you know tangentially, links to SportsGrid stories will periodically show up on your homepage. We promise not to overcrowd your timeline with our stuff, though, so as to not interrupt your stalking.

2) EXCLUSIVE CONTENT, HOMEBOY.

We have prizes and giveaways and all that, but we also have videos that we can’t post on the site because they have nothing to do with sports. Like this one, which we just posted on our Facebook page a few minutes ago.

3) WIN THINGS.

In much the same way following us on Facebook delivers our stories to you, following us on Twitter serves the same purpose. You also get the first word on giveaways (like this ridiculously-easy-win autographed baseball contest) and on job openings and internships at SportsGrid.

BONUS REASON FOR THE LADIES.

We have a Pinterest page, too. Here, you’ll find cute photos of athletes with their kids, and also hot photos of their impossibly attractive spouses. Win-win.

Am I whoring our social media stuff?

Absolutely. But I’m also improving your life, by making our stories (and our contests) more deliverable to you. You’ll be able to waste time at your job or in class without even having to lift a finger. And in that scenario, everyone (except your employer or teacher) wins.
