Video: Watch The Full 2012 Preakness Stakes, Which Was Amazing

The triple crown dream is still alive. I’ll Have Another is the winner of the 137th Preakness Stakes, doing it in dramatic fashion in Maryland (seriously, watch the video — this was a good one).

Bodemeister had the lead heading into the stretch, and looked like he had in pretty much sewn up. But I’ll Have Another made his move in the closing moments, leading to one of those fantastic, grown-man-announcer’s-voice-getting-really-really-high moments that are completely unique to horse racing. I’ll Have Another’s win sets the stage for a dramatic Belmont Stakes in June, when he can become the first U.S. triple crown winner in 34 years.

Here’s video of the full Preakness Stakes 2012.

I just about had a heart attack watching this. What a finish! Very cool but humble jockey from Vancouver and owner from Ontario – cheers for Canada.
