Mike Krzyzewski Can Really Get Off The Ground
Mike Krzyzewski is 65 years old. That can be easy to forget, given his spot on Bill Simmons’ Tony La Russa All-Star team of guys who never look any older (here’s Coach K 27 years ago, for example), but it’s true. Just as that aging hasn’t make him look that much older, though, he demonstrated during Team USA’ gold medal win yesterday that he can also jump around like a much younger man:
And here it is in gif form, via SB Nation:

“Understandable,” you might think. “Adrenaline was running high, critical play in a gold medal game – maybe anyone, 65 years old or not, would have been able to pull off a jump like that in that situation. Is this something Coah K could really pull off regularly?” And to that, we enter this bit of evidence:
Coach K coaches Duke, which means that those who are not Duke fans have a moral obligation to hate him at all times he isn’t coaching Team USA. But we can’t lie: that’s pretty impressive.
