Mitt Romney Vs. Evander Holyfield Was Not ‘The Fight Of The Century’

This fight should have looked like the 2012 Presidential election — one-sided. But Evander Holyfield didn’t beat Mitt Romney like President Barack Obama did, probably because a presidency wasn’t on the line. The Romney vs. Holyfield bout was for charity. And as you’d expect, there wasn’t a serious moment during this fight. And in choreographed fashion, Romney sent Holyfield to the mat with a “nice right hook.”

The training Romney underwent with Holyfield seemed all for naught. The match resembled a fake wrestling match. It wasn’t WWE — more like if 68-year-old and 52-year-old WWE fans staged their own match.

But let’s give the governor of Massachusetts some credit. Anyone who steps into the ring with Holyfield is brave, regardless of terms agreed upon prior. Romney threw in the towel in the second round.
