Blair Walsh Visits First Graders Who Sent Him Encouraging Letters After Missed Kick

Last week the first graders at Minnesota's North Point Elementary School wrote letters to Vikings kicker Blair Walsh, forgiving him for missing the 27-yard field goal vs. the Seahawks that sent his team home from the playoffs. Among the letters was the one below, which we should all remember in bad and difficult times:
Yes, puppies are cute.
Not only did Walsh take the letters to heart, but he decided to repay the children's kindness. He visited their school on Thursday, and thanked them in person.
Yes the kids' gesture warms the soul, and yes Walsh is a righteous dude. But here's a letter I wish that one of the tykes had written:
Dear Blair Walsh: You mised that kick and my daddy lost lots of money. A big man came to our house and took our tv. he says we need to pay and the vig is still running. We have a new dady now. Your frind Jacob.
