Bubba Watson Will Storm Olympics With A Personal Helicopter Golf Cart
If violence erupts at the Rio Olympics, Bubba Watson is ready to soar above the fray. It was three years ago today that Watson debuted his hovercraft golf cart -- a real hovercraft conceived and designed by Watson with the help of his major sponsor, Oakley.
But Watson always had loftier goals, and is now preparing to crash the Olympics with this: a personal helicopter. Of course Watson calls it a jet pack, but technically that's not right. This one has propellers (or more precisely, two fans) and no jet engine, making it a helicopter. He designed this as well, with Oakley again a partner.

Watson, via Huffington Post:
"You're riding by yourself. Now you don't need to be with that annoying golfer who's always telling you all about his score. You just saw that. You don't need to listen to him tell it to you again."
For the first time in 112 years, golf will be part of the Olympic Games: just as the ancient Greeks first envisioned it.
