A Lot to Like in Chicago Again
Let’s deal ‘em up!
(All prices from DraftKings)
Look at Tony Romo finally getting some (overdue) love, as he sits at $9,200. The matchup with Philly is very enticing, but I'm going to likely pass on spending that much. I'm likely either going back to Jay Cutler – given his $7,700 price and terrific matchup against the Redskins – or whoever starts for the Eagles. I'm leaning Cutler – again, it's the Redskins! – but, a home game for the division lead will have Chip Kelly pulling out all of the stops… or is it "go's" in this case with that offense? Either way, whoever starts for the Eagles has a load of upside and will cost you just $7,000 (Nick Foles) or $6,700 (Michael Vick).
One of the more attractive high-priced options is Matt Forte this week. The Redskins are still terrible against the run (they let Joseph Randle punch one in!) and Forte is already averaging 20.1 PPG. Gio Bernard is nice value pick at $5,800. Sure, there is some risk with BenJarvus Green-Ellis still in the mix, but once you reach this level of price, you aren't going to find any guarantees anyway. Even so, Bernard is averaging 14.5 PPG and faces the weak Lions defense. Likely one of this week's best options is Danny Woodhead at just $5,200. That chunk of change will net you a RB averaging 15.9, and one who is facing the Jaguars. Seriously, did you see what Knowshon Moreno just did to that team? Lock Woodhead in, now!
We're back tomorrow with some early-week receiver and tight end options.
