Is There a Jets WR Worth Your Time?
Let’s deal ‘em up!
Jets at Falcons
(All prices from DraftKings)
With the Jets offense borderline desolate of options this season, most of your Monday night decisions likely have been made. If you saved the money at QB, Matt Ryan is a decent option at $8,300, but there were better-priced options given the injuries to Julio Jones and Roddy White. Speaking of the Falcons receiving duo, Jones is rather expensive ($7,900) and worth avoiding with the aforementioned injury situation. White, Santonio Holmes (out), Stephen Hill and Jeremy Kerley check in at $4,500, $4,200, $3,400 and $3,100, respectively. Of those, the one that I find most intriguing is Hill. He’s flashed his talent already, averages the most of the group at 11.1 PPG and presents the most upside. With that price, you could plug him in, grab Ryan, and even spend big at RB or TE. Circling back to running backs, Bilal Powell has been productive with the high carry totals each game. Mike Goodson should play, and that could cut into his point total. With the Falcons run game in flux too, I’d avoid all backs tonight. The last two options I would consider are at tight end with Tony Gonzalez and the Falcons D/ST. The money saved at WR could allow you to grab one of the game’s best who is averaging 17.1 PPG. And at defense, you’re still saving money given the Falcons lackluster play, but the Jets and Geno Smith are one of the most turnover-prone teams in the league. If you waited, feel confident locking them in your lineup.
