Move along, nothing to see here. It's true. You should really just avoid tonight's game altogether. Why? Let's start at quarterback. Carson Palmer is obviously not the answer in Arizona… or if he is, I'm afraid of the question. You certainly don't want part of most QBs facing Seattle, let alone Palmer. Russell Wilson has disappointed, costs $7,100 still and the Cardinals pass defense is actually strong. Marshawn Lynch is a beast, but he is $7,200, ailing a bit and again, the Cardinals run defense is underrated. Forget the Cardinals backfield given the timeshare – oh, and there is that pesky Seahawks defense to worry about. Larry Fitzgerald can be matchup proof. But, not this year with Palmer, and especially not this week while nursing an injury in a short turnaround. Plus, he'll likely draw Richard Sherman in coverage. Ugh! The rest of the receivers are fliers, but priced a bit high to be worth the risk. There are simply much better plays in the $5,000 range. Tight ends? Ha. What tight ends on these teams? For defense, I could see the Seahawks being a nice play, but at $5,500, you'd limit the rest of your options and you will have locked in a spot for just one Thursday night option. Have you gotten the picture here? Try to enjoy the game – it'll be tough – and just save your lineup for the weekend.
