The Robert Griffin we knew and loved is back… as in he’s back to running! RG3’s value jumps a great deal with his rushing ability, and even with some off games, he’s still averaging 21.0 PPG. The Redskins have the unenviable task of playing the Broncos on the road after a loss, but that doesn’t matter much for RG3 and his potential against that defense. Eli Manning is an attractive high reward/high risk play with a good price ($6,800)/ That puts him down in Nick Foles (likely not playing) and Ryan Tannehill territory. The Giants face the pitiful Eagles defense this week, and that’s good news for the pass-happy Giants. The Steelers defense is far from formidable or even threatening these days. With two weeks to prepare, Terrelle Pryor is another attractive upside play given his $6,000 price.
If you can find a way, you must plug LeSean McCoy in your lineup. Or, do we need to rehash the fact that McCoy owns the Giants and is already averaging 20.7 PPG?! Knowshon Moreno continues to put up great numbers (six in PPG at 18.9), yet will still cost you just $6,000 and that Redskins defense is a cake walk. Le’Veon Bell has a great matchup in that aforementioned Steelers-Raiders game. At $5,800, you have yourself a bell-cow RB with a great potential to score. I’m staying FAR away, but if you’re feeling frisky, Mike Shanahan could continue his nonsense and give Roy Helu plenty of opportunities again in the matchup with Denver. At $3,300, it’s awfully tempting.
We're back tomorrow with some early-week receiver and tight end options.
