The Receivers Are Where It’s At Tonight
Let’s deal ‘em up!
Vikings at Giants
(All prices from DraftKings)
We actually have some nice potential values in tonight's game. Why? Mostly because the Giants have been terrible this year. Eli Manning is $6,600 (just $600 more than Christian Ponder who isn't playing) because of the interceptions. Even so, Manning is still averaging 16.7 PPG because of the yardage, and the Giants will have to pass more if Brandon Jacobs is out tonight. The Vikings have one of the worst defenses in the league and allow the most PPG to running backs. That makes Jacobs a decent play at $3,900 if you waited, but as said, also helps Manning if not. Adrian Peterson is an obvious super-stud play if you saved the money, as the Giants defense is nearly as poor as the Vikings is. At receiver, Victor Cruz has been a bit inconsistent, and that makes his $7,100 price a bit tough to swallow. I do like Hakeem Nicks $6,000 tag though. The Giants should be able to pass all over the Vikings, and Nicks has shown recently that he still has WR1 potential. Greg Jennings is a nice risk/reward play at $5,200 given the Giants own struggles in the secondary, but I'd likely save the extra $900 and go Rueben Randle if trying to save money. I don't want much to do with the tight ends given their inconsistency, but if forced, I'd rather roll with Kyle Rudolph and hope Josh Freeman targets him more than Ponder did.
