Ben Carson Releases Rap Radio Ad In The South Because, You Know, Black Voters
Remember back in April when Ben Carson said that rap music was tearing apart African-American communities? Ahhh, well, Ben Carson says a lot of things. Now he's leading in some polls, and he's producing rap ads to get votes.
Here's a 60-second "urban radio advertisement", as his campaign calls it, scheduled to air Friday in eight markets. Those markets are:
His new $150,000 radio ad buy, called “Freedom,” will air for two weeks in Miami, Atlanta, Houston, Detroit, Birmingham, Alabama, Jackson, Mississippi, Memphis, Tennessee and Little Rock, Arkansas.
In other words, cities with large black populations.
