At the U-19 European Championships this weekend, Ezequiel Calvente scored on a dazzling penalty kick that has some wondering if it was the most-skilled penalty ever.
The Spanish Calvente, who plays for Real Betis, ran up to the ball and appeared ready to crush it with his right foot. But just as he reached the ball he struck it with his planted left, putting the ball in the top corner. At first the goal doesn’t look like much, but on the second replay you can clearly see what makes it so unique.
