Baseball lovers and John Wall fans alike, sharpen your pitchforks and fire up your torches: Colin Cowherd is set to return to the air on September 8, 2015, at 12:00 p.m. EST. The controversial ESPN personality will officially replace Mike Francesa during the midday timeslot, demoting the “biggest name in sports talk radio” to the bargain bin aisle that is Fox Sports 2.
You will also see him working “Fox NFL Kickoff” pregame show (that’s the one where they stand on the little fake studio field) at 11:00 a.m. ET, immediately prior to the Emmy Award-winning “Fox NFL Sunday.”

Cowherd’s ESPN program has been temporarily replaced with Michelle Beadle and Ben Lyons to mixed reviews. However, it has been markedly less Cowherdy, meaning there have been exactly zero borderline-racist/definitively racist moments on ESPN U between the hours of 10:00 and 1:00 p.m. since late July. It also means there haven’t been nearly as many premium interviews with high-profile guests (say what you will about his understanding of human nature, but don’t knock the dude’s mastery of talking to other famous people).
Dan Le Batard’s radio show is set to replace Cowherd’s midday timeslot.
Had been asked not to report until now, but Dan Le Batard working toward deal to move to 10 am to 1 p.m. to replace Colin Cowherd…..

– Your prayers have been answered. Here are a bunch more horrible photoshops of Colin Cowherd as Mike Francesa. Enjoy!
