ESPN’s Amin Elhassan Drops AMAZING ‘Temecula’ Reference On SportsCenter
In case you spent Christmas/yesterday with your loved ones, and not scouring Twitter for Kobe Bryant arguments, you probably missed the epic war of words between @SnottieDrippen and @MyTweetsRealAF: An argument about Kobe Bryant that quickly became personal, which quickly became real.
@MyTweetsRealAF drove 35 minutes to Temecula, California to meet @SnottieDrippen and settle their dispute, or stand up for himself, or hug it out. We're not sure. All we know is that a social media argument over basketball entered the three-dimensional world.
Fuck it. Let's go loser. Temecula. @MyTweetsRealAF

@SnottieDrippen ultimately decided it was best that he not start down the path of meeting random internet commenters in parking lots to "squab it out," which ESPN's Bomani Jones agreed was probably the right course of action. Then @MyTweetsRealAF went after Jones.
Ahem, #relax dude.
This morning, ESPN NBA analyst Amin Elhassan dropped a "Temecula" reference on SportsCenter during a discussion over Kobe Bryant's on-court value to the Los Angeles Lakers.
"Before anyone drives to Temecula to try and fight me about this...Kobe's still a talent, he's just gotta find a way to fit his game with everybody else's."
We're anointing "Before anyone drives to Temecula" an official English-language idiom, of which we plan to use as a preface to any and all potentially controversial statements about a given player's skill level. Thank you, Amin.
