Mike Francesa Doesn’t Care About ESPN Or The ‘Nameless, Faceless’ John Buccigross

Mike Francesa, the Godfather of WFAN and New York sports radio, decided to join the ESPN bashing train the other day. But, despite the ease of looking smart bashing ESPN, Francesa made it look hard.
The gist: Francesa claims to break John Tortorella firing story. Whether he was first or not, we don't know, nor do we care. Then, the New York Rangers release the story themselves 20 minutes later. John Buccigross, popular/talented/highly-visible SportsCenter anchor, tweets this, because Francesa is not exactly a noted news-breaker, as he acknowledges.
Basically, this was a shit-throwing match between someone who is uninformed on the shit-throwing circuit and everything else he talks about (Francesa) and someone who is informed (Buccigross), ironically defending a company (ESPN) with an awful history of awful SOURCEry.
Much shit was thrown, none connected, all of it stank, and all of it made us laugh. Also, sources say John Buccigross has a cool name and a face.
