These People At A Minor League Game Set The World Record For Tebowing And OH GOD MAKE IT STOP
A week ago we wrote about some Tebowing that happened at the ESPYs. In so doing, we included this message to the world: "[I]f you didn’t Tebow again, like, ever, that would be pretty cool."
Well, you just had to go and do it, didn't you, fans at the Night of Fellowship for the minor league Lake Elsinore Storm? And so soon after our plea, to boot (the Night of Fellowship was July 13, but the video below just came to our attention today, via With Leather). You just had to set a record for most Tebowing happening at once.
In fairness, this was all planned back in February, when Tebowing was still more of a thing, but still, we're in a different era now. An era in which maybe, at long last, Tebowing can finally stop being a thing people do... well, until the NFL season gets underway, anyway. Here's the video of the fans setting the record (SPOILER: it's a bunch of people getting down on one knee, resting one arm on that knee, and placing their fist from that rested arm on their bowed head).
Maybe fans at this game will set the world record for Dawkinsing.
