The latest media sensation in Mexico — forget their national soccer team — is Yanet Garcia, the weather girl for Televisa Monterrey. She presents the daily forecast in an array of skimpy dresses, and how ESPN hasn’t invaded that portion of the country and carried her off to host her own show is a baffling mystery.
But aside from the obvious, here’s the most interesting thing about Ms. Garcia: her boyfriend is Doug Censor Martin, a professional Call of Duty player who is also known as Faze Censor.

I had no idea that professional Call of Duty was a thing — I thought you just called that “serving in the military.” But no, Doug Martin is pretty famous. He has 285,000 Twitter followers and 500,000 YouTube subscribers, both totals inexplicably besting his girlfriend.
There’s a thing called Major League Gaming, and they sponsor tournaments with names like Call of Duty: Black Ops, and the Advanced Warfare Open, where Martin and his team compete. Yep, we live in a world where guys playing a video war game get compensated more than guys who are actually fighting in a real war.
But the danger is just as real! From a Fox Sports story on one of Martin’s gaming teammates:
Patrick “Aches” Price played through a wounded hand. He had to get several stitches at the base of his thumb for an undisclosed injury before the final day began, and MLG officials weren’t sure they should let him play.
The horror… the horror…
Anyway, Yanet Garcia:
