Ariana Grande Destroys Musical Impressions: Pt. II
There's something about doing an impression of someone who has an incredible singing voice that blows people's minds. Maybe it's because, unlike an impersonation of, say, Robert Deniro -- which only requires you to squint and lick your lips while whispering a New York accent -- you actually have to have a set of pipes to impersonate someone like Christina Aguilera.
Ariana Grande returned to "The Tonight Show" Tuesday to once again show off her insane ability to impersonate famous vocalists, ultimately singing better than the people she was mimicking. At one point, Fallon wondered why he was still even bothering to do his own musical impressions -- which were his bread and butter as a cast member on SNL -- only to pull out a pretty impressive Sting, which sang a duet of The Weekend's "Can't Feel My Face" with Grande's terrifyingly on-point Celine Dion. Fuck ya!
Is this sports? Of course not -- but it's absolutely worth your time to watch this little angel lady sing the roof off as the pop stars of the ancient past.
