Conor McGregor Jedi Training For UFC 194
If Ronda Rousey's loss had any major impact on a fighter not named Ronda Rousey, it's Conor McGregor, who now knows the perch atop the UFC galaxy is extremely slippery. The knockout heard round the world undoubtedly served as a wake-up call for the lightweight belt holder, whose confidence coming into Saturday's much-awaited championship bout with Jose Aldo resembles that of Rousey prior to her fight with Holly Holm. We all know how that ended.
Much like Emperor Palpatine in Return of the Jedi, her overconfidence was her undoing. Will McGregor suffer the same fate?
As the overwhelming favorite, it'd be easy for the 27-year-old McGregor to take this fight lightly -- or at least look past it, glancing ever so slightly at his potential future as a pop culture Death Star (should he win, of course). But it appears that McGregor has learned something from his female-counterpart's Endor moment at UFC 193. The guy has been noticeably absent from the late-night promotional circuit, instead choosing to train like Luke Skywalker in some swampy planet's digestive system, except in a public park in Los Angeles.
Here's what we know about his preparation thus far...
1) McGregor is sharpening his reflexes by punching remotes (with his blaster shield up, of course).

2) Kicking exploding wamp rats.
4) Flowing with the Force to some Tupac.
5) Sparring with the Rancor.
6) Darkside crunches.
7) Beachside podrace.
UFC 194 pops off at the MGM Grand on Saturday, December 12th.
