Wait, Was Dana White’s RNC Speech Was Repayment For Hosting UFC 28?
When you're publicly backing someone for President of the United States, it's probably best not to bookend your endorsement speech with a story about the time that candidate invested in your business. Alas, Dana White is a bottle of Axe Body Spray capable of making decisions; decisions that made it appear as if the primary reason he agreed to lavish Donald Trump with praise at Tuesday night's RNC was to return a favor.
Judging by his comments on the race back in September, White doesn't seem to think very highly of what Trump brings to the table, saying, "I'm not too thrilled with any of the options right now."
Ya, unless one of those options calls you up and says "Please vouch for me in front of 40 million people because remember that time I helped you make all that money?"

I'm not saying Dana White isn't a conservative -- presidents of multi-billion dollar corporations usually are -- I'm just saying that he's DEFINITELY aware of Donald Trump's malignant shortcomings and willing to look past them because of some obligation to Trump, who hosted UFC 28 in 2000 at his now bankrupt Tal Mahal Atlantic City casino (a dramatic step up from the backwater fairgrounds the previous 27 had been booked at).
But ya, he's gonna make a great President because he once made money on cage fighting. Duly noted.
