ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith Continues To Criticize Colin Kaepernick For Not Voting
Stephen A. Smith continued to criticize San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick for not voting in a decisive 2016 presidential election on ESPN's First Take Thursday.
While Smith has a tendency to over exaggerate points with his boisterous rants on the morning debate show, his criticism of Kaepernick had a distinctively serious undertone.
"The only regret that I have based on my diatribe from yesterday is that I did not add the word selfish to the equation," Smith said of his second verbal tirade on Kaepernick in two days.
Smith initially criticized the quarterback, who has been protesting for injustice in America by kneeling during the national anthem, on Wednesday's show.
Smith's debate partner Max Kellerman also criticized Kaeprenick for his failure to exercise the right to vote and being "susceptible to low-quality information." The full back and forth between Smith and Kellerman on Thursday's show can be viewed below.
