Guy Puts Cardboard Cutout Of Conor McGregor In His Balcony — Real Conor McGregor Shows Up
Call it the UFC version of the Bat Signal, I guess. Conor McGregor is in Los Angeles training for UFC 196 in Las Vegas, where the featherweight will meet Nate Diaz on March 5. So he's driving home from the gym recently and he spots an apartment with his cardboard cutout on the balcony, adorned with the Irish flag.
The owner comes out onto the balcony and McGregor shouts up to him, "That's insane! I'm coming by tomorrow!"
The fighter did just that, bringing along a TMZ film crew. The fan (who I guess didn't want to be named) was blown away.
McGregor's reputation as a man of the people is no act, and he says that he never takes his fans for granted. "I see it all over the world now," McGregor said to TMZ. "They treat me like I'm one of their own. I use it as motivation. So, I'm extremely grateful to the fans."
The fan even had a pair of McGregor edition Reebok shoes. The fighter's reaction: "I don't even have them!"
