HAPPY NOW?: Parents Brawl In Stands And Now Their Kids’ Football Season Is Cancelled
The Otay Ranch Broncos were supposed to be preparing for a game this weekend. Now, thanks to some unruly parents and a heavy-handed punishment, the only football they'll be playing with involve an Xbox controller.
[Fox 5 San Diego] Chula Vista police were summoned to the field after the fight in the stands began, but no one was arrested. The game was declared a forfeit for both teams, The San Diego Union-Tribune reported. San Diego Youth Football & Cheer responded by banning both 14-and under “Midget'' division teams for the remainder of the season.
Parents of the Otay Ranch Broncos players have hired a lawyer, enlisted the help of the National Action Network's San Diego chapter and have held a rally in an effort to get the expulsion overturned, according to The San Diego Union-Tribune.

The man in the white shirt depicted in the video has a well-documented history of being THAT parent at his kid's Pop Warner football game. We get it, dude -- you're enthusiastic about youth sports and love your child very much. But please, for the wellbeing of everyone around you, relax. You're not the Seahawks defensive coordinator. You're a parent. You're a glorified chauffeur for a child. Accept that and check your own unresolved bullshit at the parking lot.
