Headline Of The Year So Far: ‘Patrick Stewart To Voice Poop Emoji In The Emoji Movie’
By coincidence I just watched the movie version of Richard II earlier this week, which contains one of Shakespeare's most iconic lines: " ... this earth, this realm, this England." It was uttered by Patrick Stewart as John of Gaunt, one of the many Shakespeare characters the classically-trained Stewart has portrayed. And so I am delighted to announce ...
Um, excuse me, it's Sir Patrick Stewart. pic.twitter.com/bwlTQiwR2T

This also may be the tweet of the year so far, but that's for you to decide. I'm far too busy determining if this marks the official beginning of the Trump Presidency. Because I'm quite sure that neither Obama or any of his predecessors would have allowed this to happen.
Anyway, The Emoji Movie hits theaters in August, and just to play it safe I would buy your tickets now. Reading the plot synopsis, I don't see how it can miss. Via The Guardian:
The plot follows an emoji born with multiple expressions who goes on an adventure in a teenager’s phone. The announcement of Stewart’s involvement was accompanied by news that Christopher Guest’s longtime collaborator Jennifer Coolidge and Bridesmaids star Maya Rudolph will also voice characters in the film.
The above trailer, BTW, has about eight times more dislikes than likes on YouTube -- which must be some kind of record for an animated movie.
