Social media is going mental over the woman who rode her horse alongside the peloton during the Tour de France today — but I’m not surprised in the least. Both of us are mammals, and we happen to share herding instincts. Horses for bike races, humans for the musical Hamilton.
So no, this is not the first time a horse joined in on the fun. First, here’s today’s horse shenanigans.

According to Horse & Hound the rider, Howard Baker, was just having a bit of fun. Says Howard’s wife of his horse, Harry, “He’s a wonderful horse… He’s extraordinary, and very placid.”
