Rousey Reveals When She’s Going To Fight Holly Holm
So far, Ronda Rousey's slow re-emergence from her top secret physical/emotional recovery facility has yielded some photos of her butt covered in bodypaint and a Stormtrooper costume, but we've yet to hear anything about a shot at redemption with the person who changed her career with a vicious kick to the neck. Assuming Holly Holm handles Miesha Tate, the world's third best female MMA fighter, on Mar. 5 at UFC 197, her next bout will likely be a rematch with Rousey at some point in 2016 after filming for the "Roadhouse" reboot wraps this summer.
"They haven't told me an exact date or location yet," Rousey told a TMZ photog outside of LAX on Sunday night. "It's a decision we're all gonna make together but I'm kinda waiting to hear from [the UFC] to see what options they're gonna give me."
Whether that fight is paired with a Conor McGregor title defense is still up in the air, though it'd behoove Dana White to go all-in with a star-studded fight card that could push the sport into the mainstream. That being said, he's probably more concerned with protecting his most prized draw, and Rousey's jaw still looks like she was recently in a car accident.
