Ryan Lochte Rushed By Protesters During DWTS Performance

With all of this Colin Kaepernick noise, we've apparently all forgotten that Ryan Lochte had just recently been the sports world's premiere bad boy. But two dedicated protesters reminded us of that fact on Monday night, rushing the stage during Lochte's performance on Dancing With The Stars, getting within inches of the swim star.
Of course Lochte's story may be more dramatic when he tells it.
The ABC show was live, but cameras were on one of the judges when the men, both wearing anti-Lochte T-shirts (that should have been a tipoff to security), ran onto the stage. Host Tom Bergeron immediately went to commercial, so the actual scene of security tackling the two men was not on the show.
But here's video of them being tackled that was not on the broadcast. An audience member recorded it on his phone.
So Lochte and his partner Cheryl Burke had just finished their dance, and judge Carrie Ann Inaba was giving them her critique, when a ruckus erupted in the audience. It's hard to hear, but it sounded like multiple people chanting "We hate Lochte!" Then two men rushed the stage, and faced the judges, yelling something unintelligible.
They were tackled by security, one of the protesters bumping into Lochte and Burke on their way to the floor. They were cuffed and led out of the auditorium. Hollywood Reporter:
"So many feelings are going through my head right now," Lochte told Bergeron after the break. He then added that he was "a little hurt." Saying, "I came out here and I wanted to do something I was completely uncomfortable with, and I did."
A shaken Burke said, “I’m shocked. I’m hurt for Ryan. He’s an amazing guy."
They ultimately received a combined score of 24 out of 40.
(Wa-wa horn sound effect here).
The best part of all of this is that Lochte had been dancing a foxtrot to the tune of the song Call Me Irresponsible.
