The Latest LeBron James Jr. Highlight Reel Makes Us Think He Might Be Good At Basketball
It's not easy growing up in the shadow of the second greatest basketball player of all time -- especially when you're constantly reminded of your dad's accomplishments whenever someone says your name. But it doesn't seem like that -- or the trappings of a super privileged life -- are keeping LeBron James Jr. from developing into one of the best 12-year-olds do-everything-guards on the planet. Sometimes nature is just too much for nurture to weigh down.
The other LeBron spent this last weekend dominating every aspect of every game he played in with his North Coast Bluechips AAU team during the John Lucas All Star Weekend tournament in Houston. The best part, however, is how much he resembles his pops out there, Eurostepping before dishing a cross-court wrap-around pass and whatnot. In fact, judging by his effortless jump shot, little LeBron is likely on pace to become a better perimeter shooter than big LeBron, who entered the league at 18 years old with that wonky form he's never quite gotten away from.
