UFC Fighters Took On Marines In Martial Arts Combat Training — Let’s See Who Won
According to this reenactment I just performed with action figures, the UFC fighters won (albeit with the help of dinosaurs, and Triple H). But then there's real life, where the results were slightly different.
Four active UFC fighters, plus UFC president Dana White, made a trip to Quantico, VA, recently to work out at the Marine Corps Martial Arts Center of Excellence (MACE), and the highlight was a fight exercise on the training course. The UFC fighters were Marcus Davis, Rashad Evans, Forrest Griffin, Brian Stann (who is a Marine veteran), and they had several fights with trained Marines. Let's see who came out on top.
To get to the fighting, go to the 3:50 mark.
After seeing a morning demonstration of tactics and techniques, the fighters attempted a training lane used to test Marines for their ability to train with knives, bayonets, and fighting sticks. The fighters lost to the Marines. Badly.
It all kind of looks like the training Bruce Wayne went through with the League of Shadows in Batman Begins. You must mind your surroundings, UFC guys.
