Well, It Was Only A Matter Of Time Before The Gawker Trial Got Around To The Length Of Hulk Hogan’s Penis
Don't mock penis stories as being being childish and irrelevant -- they are now how we choose our presidents, and apparently how multi-million media trials are decided. Hulk Hogan, aka Terry Bollea, took the stand today in the Gawker sex tape trial, and the result was scintillating.
The most bizarre segment was when the defense grilled Bollea on the length pf his penis. At issue was a radio interview that Bollea did in his Hulk Hogan character in 2006, in which he boasted of a 10-inch penis. Gawker attorneys are trying to establish that such a public admission would contradict his story that he was mortified when his sex tape was released. Bollea testified that he "was shaking" when Gawker published it.
Bollea testified that, in real life, he does not have a 10-inch penis. In the radio interview he was only talking as the character of Hulk Hogan. "Terry Bollea, the real guy, does not have a 10-inch penis." Get it? Um, maybe this video of the testimony will help.
Bollea is suing Gawker for $100 million. That figure seemed ridiculous a week ago, but since Erin Andrews was awarded $55 million in her peephole stalker lawsuit case on Monday, Gawker owner Nick Denton would do well to worry.
Denton has said that if he loses the case, Gawker may have to shut down. He has already sold a minority stake in the company to help fight the suit.
