Women’s College World Series Is Better Than The NBA Finals
— NCAA Softball (@NCAAsoftball) June 8, 2016
The NBA Finals sits at 2-0 and the Warriors beat the Cavaliers in Game 2, by something like 432 points. Tonight is Game 3 and we are all hoping for something much more interesting and thrilling. Perhaps, instead of the NBA Finals, we should all be checking out the Women's College World Series.
After defeating Auburn in Game 1 of the finals, Oklahoma went up 7-0 in game two of the best of three series. 7-0 after two innings. Until, the War Eagle awoke. Auburn came back to tie the game 7-7 and make the largest comeback in College World Series history. The game would go to extra innings where you knew the drama would come.
Auburn had the bases loaded in the bottom of the 8th when Emily Carosone jacked one out for a walk off grand slam. 11 straight runs scored by the Tigers to send the Women's College World Series into a decisive third game and officially complete the historic comeback.
Check out Auburn football and basketball coaches Gus Malzahn and Bruce Pearl going absolutely nuts in the stands, as the Tigers claimed victory.
Auburn and Oklahoma will play Game 3 tonight and yeah, we don't need to see Steph Curry drown LeBron and the Cavs by 48 again. Give us the Women's College World Series!
