I’m going to shock you. I’m buying into Desmond Ridder and the Cincinnati Bearcats.
Here’s the thing about Tulsa that I don’t like. They tend to start slow, and if they start slow against the Cincinnati defense, they’re going to become one dimensional. There’s still inconsistency at the quarterback position. So they cannot do that in this matchup. I think offense and defense align play. Cincinnati is just much more physically superior.
Desmond Ridder does not turn the football over, and he’s a mobile quarterback. Playing against that type of skill-set has given Tulsa some problems this year from a defensive perspective.
When you force turnovers at the rate that Cincinnati does, you’re going to dominate this matchup, especially playing at home.
I think they win this ball game, handily 20 points or more on Saturday.
