The Cleveland Browns have activated linebacker B.J. Goodson from the COVID-19 reserve list. Goodson missed Cleveland’s last two games while he was on the list. The former Clemson product has 91 tackles on the season, along with two interceptions. With Goodson now activated, the Browns still have seven players that remain on the COVID-19 list: wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge, linebacker Malcolm Smith, tight end Harrison Bryant, safety Andrew Sendejo, guard Joel Bitonio, and cornerbacks Denzel Ward, Kevin Johnson.
The problems don’t just end there for Cleveland as head coach Kevin Stefanski also tested positive for the virus and two other coaches on his staff. Neither will be with the team this weekend when they face the Steelers in Super Wild Card Weekend. Special teams coordinator Mike Priefer will be the acting head coach for Cleveland, while offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt will handle Stefanski’s play-calling duties.
This line opened with Pittsburgh as a 3.5-point favorite, but it’s now up to 5.5 at FanDuel.
