Jusuf Nurkic will miss at least eight weeks for Trail Blazers with fractured wrist
The Portland Trail Blazers got some terrible news today as center Jusuf Nurkic will miss at least the next eight weeks for the team. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Nurkic will be out for the next two months after undergoing surgery on his fractured right wrist. The Blazers big man injured the wrist after blocking a Myles Turner dunk attempt when Portland lost to the Pacers on Thursday night. Nurkic was leading the team with nearly a block a game while adding 9.8 points and 7.7 rebounds.
Enes Kanter should be picked up immediately in all leagues. The former Celtic is still available in about half of fantasy leagues, so get on it quick. 2017 first-round pick Harry Giles III should also see an uptick in playing time.
