With more positive COVID tests for the Wizards the NBA postpones Sunday and Monday’s games
The Washington Wizards will not play their Sunday and Monday scheduled back-to-back set with the Cavaliers this week. According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the NBA has postponed both games due to more positive COVID-19 tests from the Wizards. Washington’s Friday night scheduled game against the Pistons had already been postponed, but there was hope they could play in their end of the weekend set. With the additional positive tests, Washington won’t have the minimum of eight required players to suit up. As of Monday, it will be four straight postponements for the Wizards due to COVID. It might be a good idea to avoid the Wizards and their opponents if you’re in a weekly lineup set league.
