The Wizards have been hit hard by COVID-19 recently. Their last game came back on January 11th, and they will not be able to take the floor in their next scheduled contest either. They are still going through the league’s health and safety protocols and reportedly do not have enough available players to suit up Wednesday vs. the Hornets. That means their next potential opportunity to take the court will come on Friday vs. the Bucks. Six players have reportedly tested positive for the virus, and three additional players were forced to quarantine after being identified via contact tracing.
The league has now postponed 14 games since January 10th, and five of those contests have involved the Wizards.
