BRANDON KNIGHT PLAYS THROUGH THE DAILY PAIN
Since there’s only a week left of regular season NBA action, the amount of games will start to pick up which is what we’re seeing right now. Once again, there will be 10 games being played which makes it back-to-back days of that, something you normally don’t see in the middle of the week.
Most of my picks pulled through for me yesterday including Carlos Boozer, Jimmy Butler, Carmelo Anthony and even Chris Andersen lived up to his price. Of course, no one’s perfect as Damien Wilkins was a complete dud. Hopefully you took the route of Steve Blake and Andersen like myself which left plenty to spend on other positions.
Brandon Knight, G, Pistons (at CLE)
$4,200 at DraftKings.com
$4,700 at FanDuel.com
With how cheap he is, you’d think a lot of people will be stocking up on BK7. Even with numerous injuries, he’s played close to 40 minutes in three straight games and the last time he faced the Cavs, he almost got a triple-double. Not to mention both of these teams are brutal defensively and are destined for a lottery pick. Oh yeah, the Cavs will be on the second leg of a back-to-back.
Greivis Vasquez, G, Hornets (at SAC)
$6,500 at DraftKings.com
$6,800 at FanDuel.com
There’s plenty of players on each of these teams that you can use considering neither of these teams play much defense, like the game mentioned above. Vasquez should once again be able to attain near double-double numbers with points and assists.
Nikola Vucevic, F/C, Magic (vs. MIL)
$7,700 at DraftKings.com
$8,500 at FanDuel.com
You have to love that he got 60 FP last game yet his price fell $100 at DK. Vucevic or bust should be your motto, because he’ll be getting more points than players like Dwight Howard who cost about $2,000 more than him.
Andre Iguodala, G/F, Nuggets (vs. SA)
$6,500 at DraftKings.com
$6,600 at FanDuel.com
This game is going to be a fight and you know Iguodala will come to play. Ever since Danilo Gallinari went down, Iggy has started taking on a bigger role as seen in the last two games where he’s almost had a triple-double in each.
LeBron James, F, Heat (at WAS)
$11,100 at DraftKings.com
$9,900 at FanDuel.com
If you play at FanDuel, notice his value because he’s the easiest Daily over there every game. If you want to spend on him at DK, hope that the Wizards will put up a fight in a back-to-back. The last time these teams played, the Wiz actually gave the Heat a fight. If so, 50 Fantasy Points will be an afterthought.
Jonas Jerebko and Khris Middleton are cheaper options to look at who are receiving more time late in the season… Shaun Livingston fits the same mold for the Cavs… Damian Lillard deserves a mention just because the Lakers suck on the road and they suck against point guards... Might as well throw Steve Blake in here again.
