Build your Monday NBA squad around Chris Paul
Whaaaat? It’s NBA season. Yeah, I’ll be bringing NBA plays a couple times per week now along with an NFL update or two throughout.
Since there are more NBA games than NFL, it’s a lot easier to win money playing daily NBA. While it may not be as fun to watch for some people, it’s a better way to make money playing Daily, I guess you could say. All of my suggestions are based on DraftKings.com values.
Chris Paul, PG, $8,600.
Paul has started the season on fire and that will only continue in this game. We all know Jeremy Lin has trouble playing defense, which is where CP3 steps in. Expect at least another 50 Fantasy Points from him.
Avery Bradley, SG, $3,900.
You know he’s going to get minutes and he’ll probably shoot better than he has in the first two games. After spending on CP3, gotta take a hit somewhere else.
Klay Thompson, SF, $6,500.
The 76ers are undefeated, but their defense hasn’t done much. Thompson should get plenty of open looks.
Zach Randolph, PF, $7,600.
Who’s going to defend Z-Bo on the Celtics? Faverani, Sullinger, Olynyk? Come on…
Spencer Hawes, C, $6,700.
It’s easy to like what Hawes has done lately and this game will be pretty up and down.
Ricky Rubio, UTIL, $8,000.
He’s a pretty all-around safe bet and this game will likely be competitive throughout.
Tony Wroten, G, $3,400.
Wroten is getting close to 20 minutes per game and is producing. Why not?
C.J. Miles, F, $3,300.
Here’s another guy that’s been getting minutes and producing little-by-little. That includes a 22-point effort a couple nights ago.
I still have $1,000 left here with this roster so feel free to use some wiggle room, especially with some of my value plays.
