DAILY NBA IS BACK AS THE PLAYOFFS START SATURDAY
And just like that, the playoffs are here. It feels like the regular season was yesterday and it almost was. There are four games on Saturday and four on Sunday so enough to be able to put together a roster that isn’t mirrored across everyone else’s. The NBA playoffs are usually dominated by the home teams which mean that’s best place to start your roster.
Unfortunately since this is the playoffs, there’s not going to be a ton of cheaper options to use as all the starters will be maxed out.
Ty Lawson, PG, Nuggets (vs. GS)
$6,400 at DraftKings.com
This game will more than likely have the most points in it today so grab as many players as you can from either team. Lawson is underrated coming back from his injury and can put up big numbers for a small value.
Raymond Felton, PG/SG, Knicks (vs. BOS)
$5,100 at DraftKings.com
While Pablo Prigioni was given the start the last two games of the year, he sprained his ankle in the finale and will likely miss Game 1. For only $5,100, you can’t go wrong with Felton who should get big minutes.
Blake Griffin, PF/C, Clippers (vs. MEM)
$6,800 at DraftKings.com
Like every other player with an injury right now, Griffin probably won’t be troubled by it in the playoffs. Expect plenty of minutes and solid numbers in the first game for Griffin.
Jeff Green, SF/PF, Celtics (at NY)
$5,200 at DraftKings.com
Green has the ability to put up big numbers and the Celtics are going to need someone that can to beat the Knicks. His value makes him an easy addition for any team. Green will get starters minutes and play around 35 minutes.
Gerald Wallace, SF/PF, Nets (vs. CHI)
$3,100 at DraftKings.com
This is more of a bargain play as Wallace really hasn’t played well lately. However, when a guy like Wallace is so cheap, you can’t pass it up. Players usually pick up their game in the playoffs and that’s exactly what we could see from Wallace.
More players to look at: David Lee, Stephen Curry, Chris Paul, Andre Miller, Evan Fournier, Paul Pierce.
