Don’t overlook Brian Hoyer in Thursday’s game
Who doesn’t love value plays? I live on value guys in my roster. Why overspend on a guy that’s just as good as a cheaper option? No idea.
I’ll go over some of my favorite value plays for the coming week of daily NFL games over at DraftKings.com
Brian Hoyer, $6,600.
With the way Hoyer has looked, there's no reason you can't go with him in this matchup. The Bills are beat up in the secondary and with guys like Josh Gordon and Jordan Cameron, the opportunity will be there.
Ryan Tannehill, $6,600.
Tannehill also deserves a mention. The Ravens don’t have a great secondary and Tannehill has looked pretty solid so far (besides last Monday).
Bryce Brown, $3,300.
The Eagles should be back to scoring plenty this weekend and that includes backup RB Brown. With McCoy nursing some injuries, Brown will have a chance to put up numbers.
Daryl Richardson, $3,900.
I mean, he’s playing the Jaguars and will see the ball a lot. For this price, I think his numbers will be much better.
David Wilson, $4,200.
The fact that Wilson managed 55 yards last week is a good sign. The Giants have not faced a bottom half defense yet, but they’ll be getting one of the worst this weekend. The Eagles are brutal and Wilson will find some holes.
Ryan Broyles, $3,300.
This will be his third game back from injury and I expect better numbers and more targets against the Packers. The Lions will have to pass more than last week, as well.
Kenbrell Thompkins, $4,500.
He’s gotten better in every game this year and Aaron Dobson has a neck injury. Combine that with a beat up Bengals secondary, and KT could expect another TD.
Denarius Moore, $5,000.
No one has paid much attention to D Moore this year, but he’s been playing pretty well. No matter who’s at QB, the Chargers don’t have a great secondary and Moore should have another nice game.
Jared Cook, $4,300.
Remember the last time the Rams won? Cook dominated for 141 yards. Now that the Rams are in a good position to win again, I’ll take my chances with Cook. He’s had nine catches in the last two games, which is good enough sign for me.
