MAKE THE CALL: RAYMOND FELTON OR J.R. SMITH?
There are two games on Thursday which is disappointing, but we can still play Daily which is great, but it will be really hard because there’s not much you can do with your roster.
Things were mostly good yesterday except Brandon Knight who had a disappointing game considering his previous success against the Cavs. No matter, Nikola Vucevic busted through for 68 Fantasy Points at DraftKings. Not to brag, but I’ve won two straight 5-player competitions and I use my own suggestions (that I post daily on this blog) to build my teams. Guess it works, right?
Knicks at Bulls
Remember LeBron’s ridiculous streak? Well, Carmelo Anthony is having one of his own as he’s scored 36 points in five straight games while shooting at least 60 percent in four of those games. However, that means he will be on everyone’s team.
Carlos Boozer will also be a popular pick as the Bulls continue to fight injuries, not to mention Tyson Chandler will be out for the Knicks. Obviously, injuries will change a lot of rosters, but Jimmy Butler should be on everyone’s roster if Luol Deng doesn’t suit up again. Even then, it’s hard to go against him. For an even cheaper option, Nazr Mohammed can be used as he’ll likely get the start again.
J.R. Smith has started to cool off since Melo has been on his hot streak which means Raymond Felton is the better value pick as he’s a full $1,500 cheaper at DraftKings.com.
Thunder at Warriors
I’m not exactly sure how DK do their prices, but after Kevin Durant almost had a triple-double last game, he’s actually cheaper than teammate Russell Westbrook. Honestly it’s a toss-up, but Durant has had more success against the Warriors this year which gives him the bump. That’s about all I’m looking at for the Thunder, but would definitely consider Thabo Sefolosha. For his $3,700 price tag at DK, he’s been pretty solid lately.
The other night I went with David Lee over Stephen Curry and I think I will do the same again. He’s $1,100 cheaper and provides quality value. The rest of their players are very hit-or-miss, but for his value, Klay Thompson should be a quality buy for your squad.
