You Should Already Know Jimmy Butler
It’s always hardest to win in Daily when there are only a couple games in a given day. Tonight there will be three games which does not make things easy, especially for the people that do more studying. You can’t really separate yourself by much because if there’s a sleeper you like, it’s a close possibility that your opponent will like him as well because there are so few options to choose from.
Another problem with today’s games is that the teams playing are all good and have a spot in the playoffs (excluding the Mavericks, but they still aren’t a pushover).
Chicago at Brooklyn. The Nets defensive efficiency is actually below average at home which is surprising, but with the Bulls in this game, a ton of points isn’t expected.
-Jimmy Butler is already on everyone’s radar, but he is still worth it. At only $5,400 at DraftKings.com, Butler is not only cheap, but has been playing 40 minutes per game the last five games. With that, he’s a lock for at least 30 Fantasy Points.
-MarShon Brooks ($3,100) has seen his minutes increase due to Joe Johnson’s injury. The problem is that Johnson and Gerald Wallace could both return tonight. Keep an eye on both of those players before grabbing Brooks.
Dallas at Denver. This is a good game to focus on as there will be a lot of points. Unfortunately, it involves Denver.
-Dirk Nowitzki ($8,000) had an off game the last time he was on the court yet still finished with 30 Fantasy Points. He’s looked like his former self lately and is a good choice to spend your money even on the road.
-Evan Fournier ($3,000) has gotten more minutes in two straight games because of blowouts. This may be another situation here as the Mavs looked depleted last time out. I mentioned Andre Miller ($5,700) a couple days ago and I will again. Because of his consistent game, he’s probably the best value on the Nuggets.
San Antonio at Oklahoma City. Even though this is a big game, the Spurs are dealing with a lot of injuries which makes things harder to predict.
-A player like Nando De Colo ($3,000) is a player to keep your eye on if some of the Spurs studs sit once more. He played 29 minutes last night while racking up eight points, seven boards and six assists. Boris Diaw and Gary Neal are also players to check out as they will cost you the minimum price.
-You’ll need your points from somewhere and getting them from the Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook duo might be the best bet. Durant is good for 50 FP every night while usually has at least 40 FP in him. Value-wise, Serge Ibaka is a better play than Westbrook because he has less volatility.
