Daily Fantasy: Week 10 NFL picks
It's Week 10 of the National Football League regular season, and here are your picks. Good luck!
(FanWars.com salaries in parentheses) (all times ET)
Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh ($7600 at NYJ): Big Ben set an NFL record with 12 passing touchdowns in the past two games. This weekend, he will face the NFL's worst passing defense in terms of passing TDs allowed (24). He has been a Daily Fantasy owners dream lately.
Tony Romo, Dallas ($8300 vs JAC - London): Romo (back) might not be the most nimble coming back from a pair of fractured bones in his back, but he should still be able to shred Jacksonville's pass defense. The Jaguars have allowed 263.4 passing yards per game and 15 touchdowns in nine games.
Andre Ellington, Arizona ($6600 vs STL): Ellington will produce a big stat line against the St. Louis Rams rush defense, which has been pounded for 136.2 yards per game. The Rams have given up an NFL-worst 10 rush plays of 20 or more yards, and three or more plays of 40-plus yards.
Matt Forte, Chicago ($9200 at GB): If you're going to splurge on one of the top options at a position, make it Forte. The Packers are last in the NFL against the rush, allowing 153.5 yards per game with nine rushing TDs in eight games. He posted a season-best 122 rushing yards back on Sept. 28 against the Packers in Soldier Field, and he had five receptions for 49 yards in that game. He has at least five receptions in each of his eight games this season.
Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh ($7600 at NYJ): Big Ben has been roasting pass defenses, and someone has to be on the receiving end of all of those touchdown passes. Brown probably should be the highest salaried wideout on the board, but he is actually the seventh-most expensive. That makes him a bargain with his production lately.
Julio Jones, Atlanta ($8000 at TB): Jones will be facing a Tampa Bay Buccaneers pass defense which has allowed 285.2 yards per game, second-worst in the NFL. The Bucs have also given up 18 passing touchdowns, tied for worst in the NFC. It should be a fruitful day for Jones and his Falcons' teammates.
Heath Miller, Pittsburgh ($5460 at NYJ): Expect to hear the familiar "Heeeeee-ath" cheer from the road contingent which follow the Steelers. He will be active in Sunday's game, as the Jets pass defense is poor, and Miller will find plenty of wide-open spaces.
