Daily Fantasy: Week 12 NFL Picks
We're heading into Week 12 of the National Football League season, with just five weeks remaining in the regular season. It seems to have flown by.
(FantasyAces.com salaries in parentheses) (all times ET)
Brian Hoyer, Cleveland ($5750 at ATL): Hoyer and the Browns head down to Cleveland, and they'll try to work in the NFL's leading receiver from 2013 into the fold. WR Josh Gordon is back from his 10-game suspension, and that will give Hoyer another weapon against an Atlanta Falcons pass D which ranks last in the NFL.
Mark Sanchez, Philadelphia ($6500 vs TEN): Sanchez has tossed two touchdowns in each of his three games since taking over for the injured Nick Foles. He is a cheap option against a Titans pass defense which ranks ninth in the NFL, but one which has allowed 15 passing TDs through nine games.
Alfred Blue, Houston ($4350 vs CIN): There is reportedly a very small chance Arian Foster (groin) is active, so Blue is the man again. He is a cheap Daily Fantasy option who proved he is more than capable of handling the mail last weekend. The Bengals have given up 136.2 yards per game on the ground with 12 rushing touchdowns allowed, tied for worst in the AFC.
Jeremy Hill, Cincinnati ($5000 at HOU): Hill is expected to start the game, even though Giovani Bernard (hip) is expected to play. Word from offensive coordinator Hue Jackson during the week seemed to indicate Hill would get a majority of the carries, and they'd ease Bernard back into the mix.
John Brown, Arizona ($4450 at SEA): Brown is expected to see a bigger role with Larry Fitzgerald (knee) hurting and likely a game-time decision. Brown has rolled up five receiving touchdowns in a limited role, so a larger role would likely yield much better Fantasy results.
A.J. Green, Cincinnati ($5900 at HOU): Green got back on track last weekend with a pair of touchdown receptions in New Orleans. Now, the Bengals move down the Gulf Coast to Houston. The Texans have given up 278.1 yards per game through the air, and 19 passing touchdowns in 10 games. They rank 31st in the NFL against the pass.
Coby Fleener, Indianapolis ($4550 vs JAC): Fleener has put up superior numbers over the past two games, more than making up for the absence of Dwayne Allen. Fleener has 11 grabs for 221 yards and a score while averaging 16.8 Fantasy points per game over the past two weeks. He is a low-priced option with a high ceiling.
