Daily Fantasy: Week 13 NFL picks
We're heading into Week 13 of the National Football League season, with just four weeks remaining in the regular season. Can you believe Thanksgiving is in the rear-view mirror, and we're hurtling towards the end of another exciting season?
(FantasyAces.com salaries in parentheses) (all times ET)
Teddy Bridgewater, Minnesota ($5600 vs CAR): Bridgewater has been improving lately, posting 16.35 or more Fantasy points in three of his past four games, including his first multi-TD effort and 21.7 Fantasy points last weekend against Green Bay. He is a low-priced option against a Panthers pass defense which has been terrible.
Matt Ryan, Atlanta ($6650 vs ARI): The Cardinals rank near the bottom of the league against the pass, allowing 254.6 yards per game with 15 touchdowns. The Cardinals have also yielded 41 pass plays of 20 or more yards. Matty Ice should be able to add to that total with WRs Julio Jones and Roddy White.
LeGarrette Blount, New England ($4600 at GB): Blount took advantage of a sleeping Jonas Gray last week, stepping into the lineup and producing 78 yards with two rushing touchdowns against the Lions. If the Hoodie liked what he saw from Blount, Gray could be fighting for carries again this week. Blount is a low-priced option facing a Packers rush defense allowing 136.7 yards per game, 30th in the NFL. Even if Blount and Gray split carries, there is plenty of football to go around to be a DFS success.
Rashad Jennings, N.Y. Giants ($4900 at JAC): Jennings hits the road to face his former team, the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags have struggled against the run, too, so it could be a very successful homecoming. Jacksonville is allowing 130.6 yards per game on the ground, including 14 runs of 20 or more yards to rank dead-last in the league. They have also given up nine rushing touchdowns.
Keenan Allen, San Diego ($5000 at BAL): Allen has a very favorable matchup against a Ravens pass defense yielding 264.6 yards per game through the air. The Ravens have also been dinged for 40 pass plays of 20 or more yards, so Allen will definitely have his chances downfield.
Odell Beckham Jr., N.Y. Giants ($5450 at JAC): Last week ODB produced one of the best touchdown catches in NFL history, but his selection here has nothing to do with that. He has been steady over the past five games, posting 12.3 or more Fantasy points in each outing, and he has been targeted at least nine times in each of the past four games while posting 93 or more yards in each game during the span. Highlight reel catches are nice, but DFS owners want targets to dollars spent and plenty of yardage, too.
Justin Hunter, Tennessee ($4350 at HOU): The Texans have struggled against the pass, ranking 31st in the NFL by giving up 273.4 yards per game. Houston has given up 20 passsing TDs, and 12 plays of 40 or more yards through the air, worst in the AFC.
Larry Donnell, N.Y. Giants ($4450 at JAC): Donnell has tailed off a little bit lately, but he still has two touchdowns over the past four games, and 10.5 or more Fantasy points in two games during the four-game span. The Jaguars have struggled against opposing tight ends, and they're giving up 257.5 yards per game through the air with 42 pass plays of 20 or more yards. Donnell will get his.
